The first, comparing himself to the Professor in Der blaue Engel [who would cock-a-doodle-doo like a rooster for the love of Lola, the character played by Dietrich]. The second, explaining that he could not telephone today to express his sadness caused by work keeping him far from her, sending a program [not present], and noting how the program should be translated. The last few lines are written vertically in right margin and upside down in upper margin. Each 1 page, 4to; folds. Np, 28; 29 November 1959
